Cabal is the first of two exchange exhibitions between artist-run galleries TCB art Inc. in Melbourne and Aperto in Montpellier For this exhibition eleven Melbourne based artists — who together make up the board of artist-run space TCB —will concentrate their artistic and administrative skills toward the production and transportation of artworks from Melbourne to Montpellier.

As well as showcasing diverse methods and material approaches within the Melbourne art scene, the exhibition aims to reveal something about the procedural logic of this group, who while exploring separate interests, collectively consider pragmatic and often poetic solutions to the production and transportation of artworks to the Aperto gallery.
